Now made using recycled single-use plastic bottles caught before they reach our oceans our most comfortable collection to date has gone eco-friendly. We love our oceans and want to protect them

Over the last several decades, there has been a growing global awareness regarding environmental issues and how human behaviour and activities can cause harm to the planet. Ocean pollution is a huge problem facing our society, and plastic is a significant contributor to such pollution—especially when it comes to single-use plastic bottles. We recognise that this over-consumption of plastic poses a threat to marine life, and we want to be part of the solution.

With the sustainability of our planet in mind, our designers worked tirelessly to develop a shoe from materials that would be appropriate for the times we are living in.

With the Power Love Ocean collection our aim is twofold: To provide consumers with the most comfortable shoes for their active lifestyle and to contribute towards the reduction of ocean pollution!

With every pair made, we are working to reduce the ecological burden currently being placed on our precious marine ecosystems.

Cutting-edge shoe technology in one responsible, climate friendly package

As with all our shoe designs, the process that went into developing the Love Ocean collection was rigorous, dynamic, and involved lots of experimentation. Our team took the solid foundation principles of our Engage collection and began evaluating sustainable materials, and the most effective manufacturing processes, to optimize our footwear performance when using recycled materials. After exploring all the options available for creating an environmentally friendly running shoe—we as happy as can be to share the results! Versatile and ideal for all occasions, from enjoying a walk run to going out with friends, the Power Love Ocean collection is lightweight, flexible, and comfortable that you will hardly know you are wearing them.

Environmentally friendly fitness shoes two ways

Our Power Love Ocean 100 and 300 Series are perfect for anyone looking for comfortable and versatile sneakers for everyday life that can be worn for recreational fitness activities.

- The upper part of this shoe is made of 100% recycled plastic bottles and is both breathable and lightweight. They provide a fresh feel and comfortable wear all day long. In addition, the padded lining adds a level of comfort to the heel area, while the integrated lockdown lacing system secures the foot.

- The bottom midsole and outsole are made of lightweight EVA with 10% recycled rubber grain and feature Power’s FXS Technology, molded flex grooves that deliver ultimate flexibility.

- Power Love Ocean also features an Ortholite Lifesole Hybrid insole. It is made with 5% recycled rubber and 15% recycled foam. In addition, this comfortable insole has a top mesh cover made of 100% recycled materials.

- Power Love Ocean is machine washable.

Love Ocean is Power’s first eco-friendly collection that the brand is now committed to expanding each season. Power took the initiative to develop a collection that takes a small step towards making more extensive changes.

Sustainability is a growing topic in the footwear industry and our culture in general. Being based and designed in Canada, Power as a brand has a strong connection with nature and feels a responsibility to ensure these environments are available and thriving for future generations. Love Ocean is the first step in developing larger collections within Power that will be produced using recycled materials and bio-based content.
