1. Who can participate?

The lucky draw is open to all Individuals/Customers, including Customers who are Bata Club Members in Singapore or who walk in as New Customers (“Participants”). Participants must be Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and non-permanent residents residing in Singapore who are aged 18 and above as at the start of the Promotion Period (November 6 to December 8 2024).

 

2. How do I enter the lucky draw?

Spend $50 or more at any Bata store (except Takashimaya BBG) to receive one entry ticket for every $50 spent on a single purchase. Complete your ticket with your name and contact number and drop your entry ticket in the Lucky Draw box along with consent permitting Bata to use and share your Personal and sensitive data for the purposes of the Lucky draw.

 

3. Can I enter multiple times?

Yes, you can receive one entry ticket for every $50 spent on a single purchase and multiples thereof.

 

4. Is there a fee to enter?

There is no entry fee to Bata’s Great Giveaway Lucky Draw.

 

5. How can I use the travel vouchers?

Winners will be able to use their vouchers for air tickets, hotels, land packages inclusive of hotels, car transfers, sightseeing subjected to availability – vouchers are from CTM. CTM may offer similar products in value & description should the choices be unavailable in the travel agency’s offerings at the time of Claim.

 

6. How can I use the Bata gift vouchers/cards?

Bata gift vouchers/cards can be used to make purchases on Bata.com.sg, and at the Bata retail stores (excluding Takashimaya BBG). Bata gift cards are available as physical and digital gift cards. If your applied gift card does not cover the total, you can use any accepted payment method to make up the difference.

 

 

7. How will the 2X Bata Club Points be distributed and how can I use it?

You must first be a Bata Club Member. You will receive your 2X Bata Club Points once you are declared as a winner announced by the end of December. The points awarded will match the amount you spent during the qualifying entry period.

Terms & Conditions

1. The lucky draw is open to all individuals/Customers who are either Members and Customers (“Customer”) of Bata Singapore (“Bata”) or who just walk in as New customers(“Participants”)

2. The Participants must be Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Non-Permanent residents residing in Singapore who are aged 18 and above as at the start of the Promotion Period (November 6 to December 8 2024).

3. By participating in the Promotion, each Participant represents and warrants that he/she has met the eligibility criteria stated in these Promotion Terms and Conditions and is competent and eligible to participate in the lucky draw

4. By participating in the Promotion, each Participant agrees that he/she have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions of this promotion.

5. A Participant who is participating in the Lucky Draw scheme, has to furnish his personal information along with his/her consent permitting Bata to use and share his/her personal and sensitive data for the purposes of Lucky draw, sharing of marketing campaigns, material and communication by Bata or sharing with its business associates, agents or sub-contractors, during the process and till the time of declaration of winner/s.

6. A Participant who successfully submits a ticket via the Lucky Draw box (the “Submission”) is eligible under this Promotion to participate in the Draw (each, an “Eligible Participant”). The Submission must be in accordance with the Participant’s registered phone number with Bata or the number submitted at the time of entry to the Lucky draw.

7. By Submission of Lucky draw form and consent letter (in case of new Customers) you authorize  Bata, its business partners and agents to send you marketing updates by calling, sending SMSes, emails and other phone number based messaging, superseding the Participant’s existing registrations with the national Do-Not–Call or Do–Not SMS registries and or any prior instructions which you might have given to us in respect of how we may communicate with You.

8. Participant must not have withdrawn the marketing consent given earlier and the consent should be valid at the time of entering in the Lucky Draw. Participants who have withdrawn their consent will be required to submit a fresh Consent to Bata to use his/her personal and sensitive Information for the purposes defined in these terms and conditions. It is clarified that those Customers, who do not submit the consent form or withdraw the Consent on or before the results of the Lucky draw are/will be declared either ineligible or disqualified from the Lucky Draw.

9. 8 Winners will receive $300 worth of travel vouchers. 100 winners will receive $50 worth of Bata gift cards. 300 winners will receive 2X points from the date of purchase to enter the lucky draw. (“The Prize”)

10. The Promotion Period will be from 6 November to 8 December 2024 (both dates inclusive) or such other date(s) as may be determined and notified by Bata in its sole and absolute discretion from time to time without prior notice in whatever mode of communication as Bata deems fit. (“Promotion Period”).

11. The Draw will be conducted in December 2024 (the “Draw Date”) at Bata Singapore Office, 111 North Bridge Road, #19-02/03, Peninsula Plaza, Singapore 179098. With a total of 408 winners to be picked from the qualifying period through a Lucky draw.

12. The employees of Bata, its subsidiaries, their immediate family members, employees of any partners, sponsors and agencies (including, without limitation, any external auditor(s) and advertising agencies) who are directly involved in organising or the conduct of the Draw (as determined by Bata), shall not be eligible for the Draw.

13. Winners will be picked/determined before an audience at a meeting that may be either open to the general public or will be held virtually as Bata may determine. The Lucky Draw will be done in the presence of a scrutineer who will not be related to Bata or will not be part of any trade promotion activity that is being carried out for this Lucky Draw.

14. Bata reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any winner who is or may be subsequently found to be ineligible or disqualified.

15. Winners of the Draw will be contacted by SMS and/or Email within 7 working days of the Draw Date without any delay. In case the participant Customer has provided an invalid email address such winners will be contacted via SMS or WhatsApp.

16. Notification with information on how to redeem the prizes will be distributed to the winners separately. Under this Promotion, each winner is entitled to receive only 1 prize.

17. Bata reserves the right to disqualify any winner who does not respond within 15 days after the notification has been sent.

18. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or other items. Each winner will receive his/her Prize actually won during the draw as mentioned in these terms and conditions..

19. If Bata subsequently determines basis the records and data available that a person is/was not eligible for the prize or was disqualified by these applicable terms, Bata may at its’ discretion reclaim the prize and award it to such person(s) from the reserve list or deal with it in a manner as may be required under Law.

20. Bata reserves the right to disqualify any person from the Draw whom in the opinion of Bata (which opinion shall be final and binding upon such person) has committed any fraud or has breached any of these terms and conditions.

21. No person shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from Bata should any prize be forfeited or reclaimed.

22. Bata reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or terminate, extend the draw at any time without notice. Bata shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Draw, including without limitation, any error in computing while drawing of results and chances, any breakdown or malfunctions in any computer systems or equipment. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Bata assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible coupon and or, late, misdirected claim by winner, and/or delayed or misplaced postage communication or lost or junked mails.

23. The decision of Bata on all matters relating to the Draw and these terms and conditions shall be final, binding and conclusive on all participants, including without limitation, any decision on the eligibility of any person or cancellation or suspension of the Draw. Subject to and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Bata’s record of the entries, allocated chances and/or the Draw shall be final, binding and conclusive for all purposes and in any legal proceedings.

24. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to the Draw, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

25. Bata may subject to applicable laws, at any time during the eligible period, at its sole and absolute discretion, without notice or assigning any reasons thereof , delete, vary, supplement, amend or modify any one or more of these terms and conditions in such manner as Bata shall think fit, including without limitation, the eligibility of any customer, the bases and methods of identification of Eligible Customers and any dates in connection with the Draw. Bata shall not, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for claims, costs, expenses, loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of participation in the Lucky Draw or any dispute or issue  arising out of these terms and conditions or the Draw or the prize.
26. All Participants contact details provided pursuant to the Luck draw terms and conditions shall be used by Bata, its business associates, agencies for the Lucky draw Purposes. The Customer participating in the Lucky Draw expressly permit and authorise Bata to disclose and share their personal and sensitive information with the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Draw. The participants shall be entitled to withdraw, amend, modify or ask for deletion of their personal data.

27. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the Participants in the Draw irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

28. Bata shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of any prize. Notwithstanding anything herein, Bata shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the use of any prize by any person. Bata reserves the right to replace the prize with any other item of similar value in case of non-availability of the prizes.
